Most clients don’t break out and leave with glowing, soft skin. If breakouts do occur, it’s usually due to factors like not following a daily skin regimen or using products that need to be detoxed. Any breakouts are typically your skin purging impurities, helping to clear out what’s beneath the surface.

Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water before and after your facial to support detoxifying. Also, we recommend avoiding the use of exfoliants, AHA’s, tretinoin, and any retinoids 4-7 days prior. Avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least 48 hours and arrive with a clean face, free of makeup if possible. Skip waxing or harsh treatments at least a week prior. 

Stay hydrated! Try to skip makeup the day of if possible. Follow your skincare notes for best results, avoid exfoliating, direct sun exposure, and always wear sunscreen. For Age-Defy Rituals, avoid heat, saunas, exercise, or makeup the day of, and continue using sun protection for two days. Discontinue retinoids and exfoliants for two days post treatment.

The frequency of facials depends on your individual skin needs, but most clients benefit from a monthly treatment for optimal results, especially if dealing with concerns like aging, acne, pigmentation, or rosacea. Consistency is key, and your professional will guide you. For waxing, it typically needs to be done every 4-6 weeks, depending on hair growth.
